Boucher

The Boucher family has a long tradition in wine making, spanning five generations. Luke Boucher’s great grandfather emigrated from Scotland in the 1850’s, purchasing a 1000-acre farm in Indigo Valley, Northeast Victoria. He planted vines and made wine onsite, starting a passion for winemaking and viticulture, that has been passed through each later generation.

About the Winery:

The aromatic signature of the Maison Lanson is first and foremost the fruit of a savoirfaire based on four major pillars: the meticulous selection of Crus, a traditional vinification method mainly without malolactic transformation, the richness of our reserve wines and a longer ageing time in the Cellars. As a result, Lanson Champagnes stand out for their vitality, fruitiness and inimitable freshness.
