Hare’s Chase St Melangell Cabernet Sauvignon
Sourced from a selecion of premium Shiraz blocks grown on Hare’s Chase own estate vineyard. Grapes are picked at optimal ripeness and fermented in open top fermenters with heading down boards to submerge the cap, maximising extraction of colour, flavour and tannins from the grape skins.
Colour: Deep garnet with a bright crimson hue.
Aroma: Concentrated red and black fruits of cherry, plum and raspberry, whole black
pepper, cinnamon spice and milk chocolate with tarry, savoury characters of charcuterie, tobacco and shoe polish. Palate: Rich and ripe layered black savoury fruits, underwritten with spice, flow to a full and even and rich palate. Powerful fruit is restrained and complimented with subtle oak and supple fine chewy tannin supports provide length.
